Privacy — Good Policy, but It’s Missing Some Important Information

Radmin’s no-logging policy is solid, but I do wish it was more clear. While it says many of the right things, I prefer when VPNs are a bit more specific about what they store. There is also no indication that it’s gone through an independent audit to verify its claims.

Does Radmin VPN Keep Logs? No

The service promises not to “log, collect, or store any of your traffic or your personal data.” It specifically mentions that it doesn’t store the passwords from other programs or games. However, I wish it explicitly stated that it doesn’t record IP addresses since it doesn’t provide a definition for what “personal data” means to them.

The VPN also states it stores the minimum data necessary to keep its services functioning. Once again, I wish it told us exactly what it collects. Just about every VPN stores anonymized information like timestamps, device type, server connected to, and more.

Was Radmin VPN Audited? No

Many top VPNs have their privacy policies audited to prove their claims, but Radmin VPN hasn’t done this. Without a reputable third-party verifying their policy, you just have to take Radmin’s word for it. Another issue is that Radmin’s policies are so vague, it would make them tough to audit in the first place.

Radmin VPN’s ticketing system wasn’t functional, so I couldn’t verify with support if it works in China.
